These terms govern your use of Orastories, a platform for reading and publishing books and articles. By creating an account or using the site, you agree to them. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle your data.

Accounts

You must be at least 13 years old to create an account. You're responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for activity that happens under your account.

Content you publish

You keep ownership of any book, article, review, or comment you publish on Orastories. By publishing it, you grant Orastories a license to host, display, and distribute it to other readers as part of operating the platform. You confirm that anything you publish is either your own original work or something you have the rights to share, and that it doesn't infringe anyone else's copyright or other rights.

We may remove content that violates these terms, infringes someone's rights, or is flagged and confirmed as violating our community standards (harassment, illegal content, spam, and similar).

Purchases, tips, and OraCoins

• Book purchases are processed directly via Stripe. Prices are shown before you pay, including any processing fee.
• OraCoins are a prepaid virtual currency used only to tip authors. Buying OraCoins is a final sale - like a gift card, OraCoins have no cash value, cannot be redeemed or exchanged for real money, and are non-refundable once purchased, except where required by law.
• Tips sent using OraCoins are final once sent.
• Creators receive payouts through Stripe Connect, subject to Stripe's own terms and standard processing timelines.

Acceptable use

Don't use Orastories to commit fraud (including testing stolen payment cards), impersonate others, harass other users, upload malicious code, or attempt to circumvent the platform's payment or content-access systems. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

Disclaimers

Orastories is provided "as is." We work to keep the platform reliable and secure, but we don't guarantee uninterrupted availability. Views expressed in user-published books and articles are the individual creator's own, not Orastories'.

Changes to these terms

If we make material changes, we'll update the date at the top of this page.
